"Easy pickup, just not always fast"
I use Tom Thumb pickup when I’m not really feeling like going inside the store. Most of the time it’s handy, honestly. But yeah, sometimes I’m still sitting in the pickup spot longer than I expected. My orders are usually right, so that’s good. I just wish the pickup times were a little more accurate.

"Rewards don’t feel worth chasing anymore"
I used to go out of my way to shop at Tom Thumb because the rewards felt like I was actually saving something. Lately though, it just doesn’t feel worth it. The points barely seem to add up, and I’m always worried I’m missing out on a deal because the app makes everything kind of confusing. With grocery prices as high as they are, I don’t want to feel like I’m leaving savings on the table. The loyalty program really needs to be more helpful than it is right now.

"Meat was alright, seafood was questionable"
The steaks were okay but tough, and the fish smelled off enough that I didn’t feel comfortable eating it. Not saying it’s a scam, but for the price, I expected a lot better quality.

"Shopping on the app is way too much work"
I tried to place an order on tomthumb.com and it was such a hassle. The app kept freezing, the coupons wouldn’t load, and every time I got close to checking out it would kick me back like I hadn’t just spent all that time filling my cart. I shouldn’t have to fight this hard just to buy groceries. I gave up twice.

"Wrong items way too often"
i mean, I get that mistakes happen, but my delivery had five wrong items and two things missing. The receipt showed everything I actually ordered, but the bags definitely didn’t match. Customer service took forever to respond and only fixed part of the issue. I’m not ordering groceries from here again.

"Bakery and deli just weren’t great"
I grabbed some bakery items and deli meat, and it just didn’t taste fresh. Not sure if it was the day or what, but both had that kind of old taste. Pickup itself was totally fine, so no issue there, but the food was disappointing.

"Pickup was a waste of time and energy"
I ordered produce from Tom Thumb i was disappointed. Half of it was already soft or starting to turn brown when I got it, and the strawberries had mold by the very next day. The whole point of doing pickup is to make life easier, not to waste energy sorting through bad produce and figuring out what needs to be thrown away. Definitely not worth it if this is the kind of stuff they’re picking

I mostly use Tom Thumb for the digital coupons and the weekly deals, honestly. Some of them are actually decent, especially when it’s for stuff I was already going to buy anyway.
The part that gets annoying is having to clip everything in the app and then, somehow, it doesn’t always come off at checkout. Like… I know I clipped it. The cashiers are usually helpful, but it can hold up the line a little.

So yeah, overall it’s fine, and you can save a bit if you’re paying attention. I just always check my receipt now because it’s not quite as smooth as it feels like it should be.

"Stiiiill waiting on that refund"
A few items were missing from my order, and I was told the refund would show up in a couple days. Well, it’s been over two weeks now and I still haven’t seen anything.

I reached out to support twice and got the same generic answer both times. No one actually fixed it or followed up, which is sooo frustrating. I don’t see myself using Tom Thumb again...

"Not many options lately"
I used to have better luck ordering from Tom Thumb online, but lately the selection has been disappointing. A lot of the things I normally buy just aren’t there anymore, or—well, not exactly gone, but not showing up when I need them. Then the suggested replacements are either strange or way more expensive. It kind of feels like I’m picking through whatever is left, and I still end up having to stop somewhere else anyway.

"Nice Staff, But the Wait Can Be a Lot"
In my experience, the pharmacy itself is fine and the staff have always been friendly, which I really appreciate. The main downside for me is the wait time, it feels like things move slower than expected, especially if you're just trying to pick something up quickly.

I was expecting to be able to find at least the basics, but it feels like they’re always out of something. Every time I check, the stuff I need just isn’t available, which gets frustrating.

"Delivery fees and minimums are getting ridiculous"
I like the convenience, but the delivery fees and order minimums are just too much. By the time I add enough items to qualify, go through all the extra charges, and click through a bunch of steps at checkout, it feels more frustrating than helpful.

"Payment page was a mess"
I was just trying to place a simple grocery order, but the checkout page kept freezing on me. This is where it got annoying—I tried paying with two different cards, and it still kept acting weird like the payment wasn’t going through. After messing with it for a while, I just gave up. Frustrating for something that should’ve been quick.

"The prices just don’t live up to the hype"
I keep checking tomthumb.com because it’s convenient, but the prices are almost always higher than Kroger, Walmart, and even a few local stores near me. They make it sound like you’re getting great savings or special deals, but the promises feel vague once you actually look at the checkout total. Half the sale items don’t seem like real deals, and the delivery fees add up fast. I wanted to use it more, but paying extra for basic groceries just doesn’t make sense...

"Delivery showed up way too late again"
My groceries arrived really late again, which was frustrating. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, "sorry, the driver got delayed," but it’s still annoying when it keeps happening. I get that delays happen, but I was counting on that delivery being on time.

"Tom Thumb delivery is usually solid for me..."
Tom Thumb delivery is usually solid for me, but the substitutions can be a little all over the place. Sometimes they pick something I definitely wouldn’t have chosen, and by the time I notice the message, it feels like there isn’t really enough time to say yes or no. It’s not the end of the world, just annoying when I had a meal planned out and then suddenly I’m trying to figure out what to do with some random replacement item. I guess that’s just part of grocery delivery sometimes, but it could be better.
